On Saturday 21st March I did an uplift day at Cwmcarn, with a bunch of riders from MTB Britain forum. The weather was perfect, clear blue skys and not too hot and the course was good.
I didn't go as fast as the other riders though, for some reason I just couldnt let go of the brakes - my fastest time was 4:59 which is cack, others were doing it in close to 4 minutes! But on the plus side no injuries! (though for several days after the tops of my thighs were hurting, especially walking down stairs).
Intertesing how high the heart rates are, considering there is virtually no pedalling or uphill - its just rolling down a mountain side, yet the average hrs are as high as when I'm cycling up mountains!
